Aris Housesconsists of six separate housing facilities detached
from each other, all built about a century ago and restored in 1989
exactly as they were originally built. Each of the units has its
own name and its own special character. All located on the stone
paved pedestrian footpaths of Kastro, they are prime examples of
original Kastro architecture (stone floors, wooden beam ceilings,
low entrance doors, asymmetrical walls, etc.). All of the units
are air-conditioned. Restaurants, shops and the bus stop are all
at a distance of 50m on foot.
Portouis a traditional
apartment that consists of a bedroom with a one built in double bed.
There is a living room, which is open to the bedroom, but at a slightly
lower level (3 interior steps) with two sofa-beds forming a corner
couch, a separate equipped kitchenette and a large veranda with panoramic
sea view.
Floreas is a traditional apartment built in two floors (maisonette). The upper floor consists of one main bedroom with a double bed, another bedroom with a built-in double bed and a built-in sofa, also used as a living room, and a balcony with a mountain view and limited sea view. An interior staircase leads to the lower floor, which consists of an equipped kitchenette and a shaded veranda.
Bella is a traditional studio with sea view, in reality a detached little house of one open space. It consists of a bedroom with a built in double bed, a living room corner that is open to the bedroom with a built-in sofa, an equipped kitchenette and a terrace with sea view.
Romantica is a traditional studio with sea view. It consists of a bedroom with a built in double bed, a living room corner that is open to the bedroom with a built-in sofa, a slightly separate equipped kitchenette and a small veranda with sea view.
Konaki (restored in 1998) is a spacious, separate, traditional studio with kitchenette and small terrace. This studio is in the fascinating footpaths of Kastro, surrounded by the unique architectural houses of Kastro, therefore without a view.
Hantaki is a traditional double room with a mini fridge. This room is also in the unique footpaths of Kastro, surrounded by the unique architecture of the village, therefore without view.
