Stepping into this cool paradise from the bustling island life of Skiathos, one feels transported to another world.  This walled property has lush gardens and grassy areas which offer a respite from the noises of the outside world.  Offering a One bedroom cottage and a Studio Cottage, Perivouli Cottages are within about a 10 minute walk to the golden sands of Troulos Beach.  Studio sleeps 2 persons and 1 bedroom cottage sleeps 2-3 persons. 

INTERIOR
These lovely and very traditional cottages are decorated in a warm island style.  Entering the sitting room of Perivouli 1 Bedroom Cottage, the feeling is cosy and quaint.  There is a seating area furnished with a comfy sofa (can be made up to sleeping space for child) and chair which face the fireplace.  The round dining table separates the sitting room from the kitchen.  Large windows from the sitting room face toward the lush patio and mature gardens. 

The sunny and bright kitchenette is equipped with a small oven and 3 ring hob, microwave and toaster.  It is perfect for making breakfasts and casual holiday meals.  An additional bonus is the built-in BBQ which is just outside a kitchen side door.  The BBQ is conveniently located in a small little corner of the garden just for the occupants of the cottage.  There is a picnic style table with bench seating nearby for al fresco meals.   
Between the kitchen and bedroom is a w/c shower room.   

The bedroom is furnished with two single beds and an ample wardrobe and has is a separate door here which leads to the front terrace.              

One enters Perivlouli Studio directly into a cosy room with large double bed and a corner fireplace.  A breakfast bar separates the main room from the kitchenette.  The kitchen is equipped with a small oven a 2 ring hob, microwave and toaster.  It is perfect for making breakfasts and simple holiday meals.  A w/c shower room is situated just off the kitchen. 

A steep ladder stairway from the main sitting room leads to a small roof terrace.  Here there is a private little get-away where one can enjoy the lush gardens from above.

EXTERIOR
Perhaps the best feature of all at Perivouli Cottages is its outdoor areas.  Both the Cottage and Studio have lovely front terraces with built-in traditional bench seating covered with cushions.  Many hours will certainly be spent enjoying the garden views from these patios.  The cottages are each contained in separate buildings (approx 1.5 m apart) and the angle of the buildings and dense foliage allows for plenty of privacy for all.

The owners’ residence is located on the same property but tactfully set back and away from the cottages so as to not disturb the occupants and assure their privacy. 

This walled and gated property is covered with lawns and areas full of flowers and mature trees.  A walk around the property brings one to an amazing array of vegetation.  Rows of oleaners bend to make a dramatic archway entrance leading to the cottages and main house. 

SURROUNDINGS
Perivouli Cottages are just outside the heart of Troulos, a small tourist village approximately 10 minutes on the bus from Skiathos Town.  There is a small array of shops, restaurants and tavernas and the beautiful beach of Troulos is just a 10 minute walk from the cottages.  On Troulos Beach there are watersports, and boat hire as well as full services.

Perivouli Cottages are perfect for couples or small families wanting a quaint and traditional accommodation in a perfect location.  They are conveniently located to both beach and amenities to help ensure a totally relaxing holiday.  Restaurants, shops and one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Skiathos are close at hand – yet home is a quiet and peaceful sanctuary.
