These brand new villas located near the beautiful village of Agnondas have just been completed.  Their prime location makes them perfect for those looking for a holiday near the beach and yet just a 15 minute drive brings one to all of the amenities of Skopelos Town.  The villas are set on a flat plain area just in front of a pine forest and are within 7 minutes walk to the picturesque harbour of Agnondas and its shingle beach.  The crystal turquoise waters are perfect for swimming, fishing, boating and enjoying the tavernas which sit right on the water’s edge and specialize in fresh local seafood.  Both villas have 2 bedrooms (1 double/1 with 2 single beds), a w/c and 1 w/c shower room.   

INTERIOR
These newly built villas offer a spacious living area with simple, yet comfortable furnishings.  Villas number 1 and 2 have a similar layout and décor and are situated in a complex of 5 villas.

Entering the villas into the open plan sitting room the feel is light, airy and spacious.  A corner fireplace is the centerpiece of the room which is furnished with a comfy sofa and armchair for relaxing away the stresses of the day.  A dining table is set just behind where family meals will be enjoyed surrounded by many windows facing out to the nature surrounding this beautiful area of the island.  The kitchen is fully equipped and is convenient for cooking up all of your holiday meals.  There is a small w/c on this main level of the house.

Continuing upstairs, there are two bedrooms in each villa.  The only difference between Villa number 1 and 2 is that there is a shared, covered balcony with access from both bedrooms in Villa number 2.  Villa number 1 has a private, covered balcony only off of the master bedroom and the 2nd bedroom with the twin beds has only a window.  The views from these terraces are of the pine covered hills opposite and the small plain and road that leads to the beach.  There is a w/c shower room on this upstairs level with a modern glass shower stall.  

EXTERIOR
Just outside the front door of the villas are spacious patios which have an extra direct access from the kitchens of the units.  This is the perfect place for enjoying a morning coffee and winding down at sunset after a day at the beach. Agnondas Villas are set in a complex of 5 villas all together.  Villas number 1 and 2 are located at the front of the complex and offer the most open views.  The complex has just been completed very recently to allow us to offer extra accommodation during the high season periods of August and September.  Since it has only just been completed, the landscaping is not been done as yet and there is just earth that surrounds each villa.  We are able to offer these properties at a special price since the exteriors are not in their ideal state.  The interiors of the villa themselves although very nice, have a sparse and newish look to them. 

SURROUNDINGS
One of the biggest assets to the Agnondas Villas is their location.  Agnondas is one of the favourite villages on the island for both locals and visitors.  The colour of the water ranges from turquoise blue in the shallow areas to the deepest blue green that the Aegean offers.  The contrasts of the green pine trees and the blue waters offer some of the most stunning scenery on the island.  The fish tavernas are a sure stop for every visitor to the island and the sunsets over the hillsides are beyond compare – a photographers dream.  The village of Agnondas is situated just 8 km from Skopelos Town with regular bus and taxi service.  Also, the beautiful sandy beach at Limnonari is just 2 kms from the villa and is easily walkable in approximately 20 minutes.

SUITABILITY
Agnondas Villas are great for both couples and families and offer a great beach-type accommodation.  With the easy access to the beach and seaside tavernas it is a good choice for those who don’t want to have to venture far from their villa.  Although car hire is always recommended to explore the delights of the entire island, it is not necessary as there is a mini market nearby and busses and taxi pass by the village regularly. 

SERVICES
Getaways2 provides (through our local representative) cleaning service and linen change twice a week, including arrival cleaning (excluding Sundays). Additional maid service can usually be arranged upon request and at an extra fee. Baby cots, high chairs and extra beds can also be arranged on request as well as welcome packs, flowers, champagne, etc. Please speak directly with our office staff for prices and availability.

Our representative's Service Office is located on the harbour front in Skopelos Town. A personal villa visit will be made the day following the arrival to answer any individual queries. The staff can help you arrange excursions & car hire, provide tips on what to see and do and let you know of any special events that might be happening during your stay. Our aim is to provide a highly personalised service to make your holiday with us an unforgettable experience.

In addition, a villa folder will be found in each accommodation, giving detailed information about the villa and the area including nearest shops, restaurants and beaches. The services are included in the rental cost.
