INTERIOR
Kanaris Pool Cottage is designed to incorporate both the old genuine farmhouse and the newly built addition into an eclectic blend of rustic and traditional décor. Entering into a small room used as an entry hall, several small stairways lead in different directions and levels leading to different parts of the house. The sitting room is found down a few stairs on the ground floor and has a corner fireplace and views from its French doors out to the private pool. The fully equipped kitchen is located at one end of the room and the casual furnishings are arranged for maximum comfort.The level above the sitting room is the master bedroom furnished with a double bed and has French doors leading to a balcony with lovely views toward the sea and the neighbouring island of Alonissos. The modern and spacious w/c shower room is en-suite to the bedroom.

The oldest section of the cottage has a stone stairway leading from the entry hall to a lovely bedroom furnished with two twin beds. The original dark wooden floors and decorative fireplace are both re-furbished remnants of the original farmhouse along with the open beamed wooden ceiling. The views from this room are stunning and the many windows allow for a light and sunny atmosphere. The w/c shower room is situated in the entry hall and is again one of the re-furbished, but original sections of the house. The stone floor and low ceiling give an older touch to the updated fixtures.

EXTERIOR
Kanaris Pool Cottage exterior areas are some of its best features. Its lone location on a small bluff allows for stunning views in all directions and lots of sunny spaces. It is surrounded by mature olive, walnut, almond, cypress, plum and fig trees which add to the character of the property which reveals itself as a working farmhouse. Its hillside location enjoys light summer breezes from the sea that keep the temperatures pleasant even in the height of the season. The recent addition of the private swimming pool adds the best of both worlds, old and new.

SURROUNDINGS
The convenient location of Kanaris Pool Cottage makes getting to town and beaches in under 10 minutes a great selection for many. Both of the closest beaches to the cottage, Glysteri and Glyfoneri, have a selection of tavernas specializing in local cuisine as well as fresh fish. Just a few minutes' drive further brings you to Skopelos town where there are supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and nightlife.

Although the town is so close, guests at Kanaris Cottage may often choose to eat at home to make the most of the sublime serenity of this secluded setting. The location of the cottage is perfect for those who like to explore by foot. It is surrounded by country lanes and trails. Those who like walking can also reach the beaches by foot.

SUITABILITY
Kanaris Pool Cottage is very well suited for both couples and families wanting a traditional cottage and a private swimming pool. An added bonus is that in just a few minutes by car, you find several lovely beaches and the amenities of Skopelos Town.

SERVICES
Getaways2 provides (through our local representative) cleaning service and linen change twice a week, including arrival cleaning (excluding Sundays). Additional maid service can usually be arranged upon request and at an extra fee. Baby cots, high chairs and extra beds can also be arranged on request as well as welcome packs, flowers, champagne, etc. Please speak directly with our office staff for prices and availability.

Our representative's Service Office is located on the harbour front in Skopelos Town. A personal villa visit will be made the day following the arrival to answer any individual queries. The staff can help you arrange excursions & car hire, provide tips on what to see and do and let you know of any special events that might be happening during your stay. Our aim is to provide a highly personalised service to make your holiday with us an unforgettable experience.

In addition, a villa folder will be found in each accommodation, giving detailed information about the villa and the area including nearest shops, restaurants and beaches. The services are included in the rental cost.
