Villa Koumaria is a newly built house in a slightly elevated position on the edge of the Mourtero area and close to Panormos bay with its beautiful long beach. Set in its own landscaped grounds amongst the pine and horse chestnut trees, Villa Koumaria has been designed to take advantage of the wonderful views both to the hillside behind and, to the front, across Panormos bay to Dassia Island. A very peaceful and tranquil retreat but within ten minutes drive of Panormos where you can enjoy a meal in one of the tavernas on the edge of the sea. Villa Koumaria has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, with ensuite shower room and a separate family bathroom with full bath. It also has a convenient outside WC close to the good sized swimming pool.

INTERIOR
Villa Koumaria is a newly built two-bedroomed house with wooden floors and traditional wooden ceilings throughout. Entrance is into the living room with its traditional fireplace and built-in seating area. The dining area is conveniently situated opposite the fully equipped kitchen with full cooker and Skopeliti marble sink, where there are French windows out to the covered terrace if you wish to dine al fresco whilst enjoying the stunning views.

There is also a wood burning stove in the dining area for those chillier evenings. Both bedrooms lead off the open plan living area; the double bedroom has French windows onto the terrace and sea views, whilst the twin bedroom has its own shower room (no w/c). The main bathroom is down two steps from the living area and has a full bath with shower. The bathroom has tiled floors and also houses the washing machine. Mosquito netting has been installed in all windows.

EXTERIOR
A paved path from the parking area leads up to the large sun terrace to the side of Villa Koumaria and then to the good sized swimming pool set amongst the trees where all you are likely to hear is the sound of the birds and cicadas, although the house is only 300 metres from the main road. There is an outside WC for the convenience of pool users. To the front, the villa has a covered terrace where you can enjoy a drink whilst admiring the wonderful views over the sea to Dassia or relaxing with a good book. The villa is also located close to many footpaths for those people who enjoy walking in quiet, unspoilt countryside.

SURROUNDINGS
Koumaria Villa is set in the countryside about 500 meters off the main road that runs the length of the island. A ten-minute drive brings you to some of the island’s best beaches in the area around Panormos. Mountains covered in pine forests, contrasting with the bright blue sea surround these lovely, white shingle beaches.
At Panormos Beach the waterfront is lined with typical tavernas specializing in fresh local seafood and the mini-market carries most of your essentials. Alternatively, Skopelos town is approximately 20 minutes by car and here you will find a full array of shops, restaurants and cafes. Koumaria Villa is in a wonderful area for walking and has numerous paths and dirt tracks in the surrounding hillside to suit everyone.

SUITABILITY
Koumaria Villa is great for couples wanting a holiday in the Greek countryside with the privacy of their own swimming pool. Families too can enjoy the peace and nature with plenty of space to explore, but be close enough to the islands best beaches and restaurants.

SERVICES
Getaways2 provides (through our local representative) cleaning service and linen change twice a week, including arrival cleaning (excluding Sundays). Additional maid service can usually be arranged upon request and at an extra fee. Baby cots, high chairs and extra beds can also be arranged on request as well as welcome packs, flowers, champagne, etc. Please speak directly with our office staff for prices and availability.

Our representative's Service Office is located on the harbour front in Skopelos Town. A personal villa visit will be made the day following the arrival to answer any individual queries. The staff can help you arrange excursions & car hire, provide tips on what to see and do and let you know of any special events that might be happening during your stay. Our aim is to provide a highly personalised service to make your holiday with us an unforgettable experience.

In addition, a villa folder will be found in each accommodation, giving detailed information about the villa and the area including nearest shops, restaurants and beaches. The services are included in the rental cost.
