Located on the rugged north-east coast of the island, Villa Kyma sits just above one of the islands most private beaches, Viathias. Although newly built, the house incorporates traditional features of the island architecture. Accessorized with nearly every modern convenience yet far from the hectic pace of usual life, it is a perfect place to completely unwind in this private and peaceful spot. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 W/C shower rooms.

INTERIOR
Always a favourite with our past guests, Kyma Beach House can now compete with the best of our villas and cater to our most discerning clientele, without taking anything away from the easy, natural charm of the house and the dramatic scenery surrounding it. The house is designed around a centre courtyard in which there is sheltered outdoor seating and dining space. From one of four doors off the courtyard, one can enter the spacious sitting room and open plan kitchen. The corner fireplace gives the room a warm touch, while French doors lead out to a sea-facing terrace. The living room is comfortably furnished with a sofa for watching home cinema on a large screen satellite TV equipped with DVD, stereo and play station. The long kitchen is modern and fully equipped with microwave and dishwasher. The sitting room and kitchen area is air-conditioned. The two lower bedrooms are reached separately through outer doors from the rectangular shaped courtyard. One bedroom has a double bed and en-suite w/c with bathtub and shower. The other bedroom has two single beds, a w/c shower room just outside in the hallway plus an extra storage/dressing room area. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned and have CD/radio players.

There is a third bedroom on the upper floor, which is reached via a set of outside stone steps from the courtyard. This small room has a double bed and French doors leading to a lovely balcony with views to the beach and sea below. This bedroom is also equipped with air conditioning and CD/radio player.On the lower level of the main house is an air-conditioned gym. Equipped with weight machines and running machine, this special addition allows you to keep to your fitness routine whilst enjoying your holiday!

EXTERIOR
Kyma Beach House is in an elevated position about 80 metres from the beach of Vathias. It is newly built, though in a traditional style and its surrounding terraces offer stunning views of the turquoise bay below and green hillsides above. There is a spacious patio with a large outdoor dining table and heated whirlpool, taking advantage of the surrounding nature and sea below. Kyma Beach House also has a stone built BBQ and its own vineyard.

SURROUNDINGS
The house has been built just above the beach of Vathias, a small inlet on the northeast coast of the island. It is accessed by road from Skopelos town, a drive of approximately 25 minutes; most of the way on an asphalt road, with the final 3kms on a winding dirt track. This part of the island is covered with thick pine forests and the coastline is wild and unspoilt, giving plenty of scope for walkers. Further north is the hamlet of Kalogeros, from where there is a rough dirt track to the Neolithic tombs of Sendoukia and the highest point on the island, Mount Delphi.

Its isolated position and close proximity to the beach and sea means that you need rarely venture far from this well-appointed villa.As it has been equipped with every necessity, including a full entertainment centre, you only need to venture to town for provisions and then head back to the comfort of your own villa! It is ideal for couples seeking a romantic escape as well as being perfect for friends seeking a relaxing, sun-filled time 'away from it all'. The layout of the house with the adjacent beach and sea is also a great spot for families.

SERVICES
Getaways2 provides (through our local representative) cleaning service and linen change twice a week, including arrival cleaning (excluding Sundays). Additional maid service can usually be arranged upon request and at an extra fee. Baby cots, high chairs and extra beds can also be arranged on request as well as welcome packs, flowers, champagne, etc. Please speak directly with our office staff for prices and availability.

Our representative's Service Office is located on the harbour front in Skopelos Town. A personal villa visit will be made the day following the arrival to answer any individual queries. The staff can help you arrange excursions & car hire, provide tips on what to see and do and let you know of any special events that might be happening during your stay. Our aim is to provide a highly personalised service to make your holiday with us an unforgettable experience.

In addition, a villa folder will be found in each accommodation, giving detailed information about the villa and the area including nearest shops, restaurants and beaches. The services are included in the rental cost.
