INTERIOR
Entering into the open plan living area, the owners' personality is plainly evident in the artsy touches throughout. An artist himself and owner of a local gallery, he has canvas and easel to one side of the room and a few of his own paintings hung around the house. The dining area with a large table is situated on the main level and just above the sunken living room, which takes full advantage of the impressive views afforded by an immense picture window. The living room has comfortable built-in seating around the traditional fireplace and facing out to the views. To the opposite side of the dining area is an open plan kitchen complete with built-in breakfast bar. This fully equipped kitchenette has windows providing lots of light and look out to the lush trees that surround the house. There is also a w/c shower room on the main level. From the breakfast bar, a screened French door leads to a sizable balcony overlooking the pool – this is the perfect breakfast spot or place to sit for a quiet evening in. The tranquil views of the nature and sea before you lend a relaxing, hide-away feel to this cottage in the country.

Just above the kitchen is the loft bedroom, located under the rafters of the open beamed roof. Just big enough for two single mattresses on low wooden frames and roomy closet (please note that head room is restricted due to the roof angle). From the sitting room a small, rather steep curved stairway leads to a second sleeping room. This lower level room has a double bed and its own separate entrance as well as large windows facing to the forest and views below.

EXTERIOR
Selini Pool Cottage is set below a small country lane almost hidden by lush trees, its golden colour and terra cotta tiled roof blending well into the hillside. Built on the side of a hill, the views from almost every room are facing toward the valley and sea below. Down the stone stairway leading to the cottage, ones' first view is a welcoming outdoor picnic area next to the built-in brick BBQ, making dining al fresco a must. The swimming pool is set off to the side and enjoys the same stunning views of the valley and sea below.

SURROUNDINGS
The great advantage of the cottages' private location and appeal is that it is also not far from Skopelos town and all its amenities. In just 10 minutes drive you are also within reach of Glysteri and Glyfoneri beaches. Both have a selection of tavernas specializing in local cuisine as well as fresh fish. Just a few minutes' drive further brings you to Skopelos town where there are supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and nightlife. The location of the cottage is perfect for those who like to explore by foot. It is surrounded by country lanes and trails. Those who like walking can also reach the beaches by foot.

SUITABILITY
Selini Pool Cottage is very well suited for couples wanting lots of privacy in a countryside setting. The outdoor spaces and gallery bedroom is great for younger kids and teenagers. The addition of the private pool is always sure to please all

SERVICES
Getaways2 provides (through our local representative) cleaning service and linen change twice a week, including arrival cleaning (excluding Sundays). Additional maid service can usually be arranged upon request and at an extra fee. Baby cots, high chairs and extra beds can also be arranged on request as well as welcome packs, flowers, champagne, etc. Please speak directly with our office staff for prices and availability.

Our representative's Service Office is located on the harbour front in Skopelos Town. A personal villa visit will be made the day following the arrival to answer any individual queries. The staff can help you arrange excursions & car hire, provide tips on what to see and do and let you know of any special events that might be happening during your stay. Our aim is to provide a highly personalised service to make your holiday with us an unforgettable experience.

In addition, a villa folder will be found in each accommodation, giving detailed information about the villa and the area including nearest shops, restaurants and beaches. The services are included in the rental cost.
