Brand new Chrysalis Villa is situated just a stone's throw from town and yet it enjoys all the privacy, peace and tranquility of a country side villa. Its outstanding harbour views, combined with spacious outdoor areas, private swimming pool with built-in pool side BBQ and roomy interiors make this high standard villa a great choice for larger parties and families. Just 150meters down, a footpath leads to the outskirts of town and from there a 10 to 15 min enchanting walk through the narrow cobbled streets will eventually take you to the picturesque harbour front of Skopelos Town.

INTERIOR
The entrance to Villa Chrysalis leads into a spacious open plan sitting room and kitchen with plenty of windows facing the pool and terraces. The sitting room is comfortably furnished with 2 sofas and chairs. The corner fireplace, open wood-beamed ceilings and large dining table make an inviting family gathering place and give the villa a traditional and homey atmosphere. The spacious kitchen has several modern conveniences including dishwasher and its high ceilings and abundant windows create a light and airy space. A double French door from the dining area leads to a spacious terrace with an outdoor dining table which is the perfect place for al fresco meals.With the enchanting views of olive groves, red tiled roofs and the bustling harbour below, many hours can be spent here just mesmerized by the views.

Also on the main level is a bedroom with double bed and a roomy w/c shower room. These are reached by a small hallway that can be closed off, providing privacy so that the w/c can be used exclusively by the occupants of the master bedroom. This sizable bedroom is furnished with a beautiful dressing table, bedside tables and a pretty wood and iron bed. Opening the hallway door allows others to use the upstairs w/c while in the common areas and around the pool.

The bottom level of the house is reached via a stairway from the kitchen and leads to a hallway from which there is access to two bedrooms and a large w/c shower room in between them. Each bedroom is equipped with two single beds (one of which can be converted to a double bed) and are comfortably furnished with dressing tables and plenty of wardrobe space. Both bedrooms have double French doors leading to a small terrace furnished with table and chairs where one can relax and enjoy the lush garden and views of olive groves. From the terraces there is access to the pool area and main terrace via an outside staircase.

EXTERIOR
One of Villa Chrysalis? best features is its spacious outdoor areas, which are completely private. The pool is surrounded by large terraces with sweeping views to the sea and valley. There is a built-in poolside BBQ for cooking up sumptuous outdoor meals. The large terrace outside the kitchen has a sizable dining table and is easily accessible to BBQ and kitchen alike. From all outdoor spaces on the main level the views are splendid of hillsides in velvety green, light blue skies and turquoise blue seas.

SURROUNDINGS
Set in the countryside surrounded by olive groves, Villa Chrysalis sits alone on the hillside just above Skopelos town. Due to its position, the villa and terraces are not overlooked by any other properties. Many walking paths and trails are within easy reach of the villa, as well as a footpath leading down to town. The footpath of 150meters leads to the main ring road (**please note that the foot path is quite steep and proper walking shoes are recommended). Once on the ring road that skirts the town, you will find numerous routes that wind down the hill through the cobbled, stepped streets of town to the waterfront. Several restaurants are within easy walking distance to the villa via the foot path. The town’s harbour front is approx. 15min walk down hill from the villa. A leisurely stroll will take you past the quaint backstreet boutiques, souvenir shops and eventually to the harbour where you will find an array of cafe bars and traditional tavernas.

SERVICES
Getaways2 provides (through our local representative) cleaning service and linen change twice a week, including arrival cleaning (excluding Sundays). Additional maid service can usually be arranged upon request and at an extra fee. Baby cots, high chairs and extra beds can also be arranged on request as well as welcome packs, flowers, champagne, etc. Please speak directly with our office staff for prices and availability.

Our representative's Service Office is located on the harbour front in Skopelos Town. A personal villa visit will be made the day following the arrival to answer any individual queries. The staff can help you arrange excursions & car hire, provide tips on what to see and do and let you know of any special events that might be happening during your stay. Our aim is to provide a highly personalised service to make your holiday with us an unforgettable experience.
