INTERIOR
Villa Erato is a charming villa that has a great mix of modern and traditional styles that makes one feel immediately at home upon entering.  The terra cotta floors and open beam ceilings along with a brick fireplace are some of the architectural touches that give it a country cottage.  The modern colours and comfortable furnishings make up the contemporary parts.  Entering the villa into the open plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen the room is spacious, yet cosy.  The kitchen is full equipped with all modern conveniences which is perfect for trying your hand at Greek style cooking or just making a simple holiday meal.  The comfy sofas in the sitting room are the perfect place to curl up with a good book while hiding from the mid-day sun. 

There is a bedroom on this main level which has two single beds, an en-suite w/c shower room and French balcony doors leading to the pool terrace. 

Upstairs from the sitting room takes you straight into a second bedroom which is furnished with a double bed, and has an en-suite w/c shower room.  There are double French doors leading to a spacious terrace which is furnished with table and chairs and has stairway access to the pool terrace.

EXTERIOR
Villa Erato blends well with the local hillsides surrounding the area.  Not only part of the villa is built with local stone, but also the many terraces and stone walls that surround the property.  The pool and its spacious surroundings have some of the best views of the harbour and town found anywhere on the island.  Villa Erato has a BBQ which is perfect for cooking holiday meals to be enjoyed al fresco at the outdoor dining table. 

SURROUNDINGS
Villa Erato is situated in area of Raches, high in the hills above Skopelos town.  The stunning views and countryside location ensure a relaxing holiday in the peaceful nature.  There are plenty of walking and hiking trails in the area and a short drive of approximately 10 minutes takes you down to the lively Skopelos waterfront.  Here you will find back streets winding through the village filled with bargains, garden restaurants and hundreds of small chapels.  The waterfront is a fabulous place to sit and people watch from the numerous cafes and traditional tavernas.   The nearest beach to the villa is Glyfoneri which can be reached in approximately 10 minutes by car.

Getaways2 provides (through our local representative) cleaning service and linen change twice a week, including arrival cleaning (excluding Sundays). Additional maid service can usually be arranged upon request and at an extra fee. Baby cots, high chairs and extra beds can also be arranged on request as well as welcome packs, flowers, champagne, etc. Please speak directly with our office staff for prices and availability.

Our representative's Service Office is located on the harbour front in Skopelos Town. A personal villa visit will be made the day following the arrival to answer any individual queries. The staff can help you arrange excursions & car hire, provide tips on what to see and do and let you know of any special events that might be happening during your stay. Our aim is to provide a highly personalised service to make your holiday with us an unforgettable experience.

In addition, a villa folder will be found in each accommodation, giving detailed information about the villa and the area including nearest shops, restaurants and beaches. The services are included in the rental cost.
