INTERIOR
Entering into this well appointed villa, the attention to detail and good taste are immediately apparent. Decorated in a traditional island style, the villa caters for all necessities. From the slate floors to the wood beamed ceilings, its warm character gives it a wonderful homey feel. From the entrance door, the spacious sitting room has plenty of seating to relax and read, enjoy meals or simply watch television. The country kitchen is simple but well equipped for cooking holiday meals.
The double French doors lead out to the spacious terrace where many hours will certainly be spent as this will fast become a favourite spot at Villa Kyparissi.

From the sitting room, a wooden stairway leads up to the spacious loft bedroom which is furnished with two double beds on opposite ends of the room and wardrobe. The high wood beamed ceiling and views that open down to the sitting room make it a perfect space for children and teenagers. From the window the views face to the surrounding hillsides.
Another stairway from the sitting room leads to a common w/c shower room and the laundry room. The downstairs master bedroom is entered through another door and can be closed off for privacy. This huge bedroom also has slate floors and is furnished with a double bed and walk-in wardrobe. There is a lovely alcove in the corner of the room which is furnished with a day-bed, the perfect place to escape the mid-afternoon sun. The highlight of the room though is the huge master bathroom, comprised of a w/c and a walk-down bathtub/shower with a seating area.  This unusual feature is tiled in beautiful cobalt and light blue tiles.  The master bedroom has its own entrance and terrace on a lower level than the main house giving those who occupy this room more privacy and their own access to the swimming pool. 

EXTERIOR
The exterior spaces of Villa Kyparissi complete to make this comfortable villa a stunning holiday home. The entire house is surrounded by a large grove of enormous Cypress trees which give a unique and fabulous feel to the house, as it’s nearly hidden away from the world. Huge terra cotta pots spilling beautiful flowers and greens decorate the terraces. 
With loads of room for lounging in the sun or enjoying outdoor meals, the views from here are exquisite and nearly unbeatable on the island.  The built-in bbq is conveniently located on the same level as the kitchen for easy serving and clearing of holiday meals.  One can imagine sitting over morning coffee, watching the ferries coming and going in the busy harbour below.  Perhaps an early evening ouzo would be even more perfect, enjoying the spectacular sun setting quietly over the white-washed village of Skopelos. The private pool on the level below is surrounded by natural vegetation and enjoys the same spectacular views as the other terraces. 

SURROUNDINGS
Villa Kyparissi sits high on the hillsides opposite Skopelos town, in the midst of a grove of Cypress trees from which it gets its name. A lovely drive past some of the islands most renowned monasteries brings you to the unmade road for the final 100meters to the villa.
The stunning scenery and views will awe and inspire from these lofty heights. Its solitude and height up amongst the trees gives it a feel as if looking down from the clouds. The closest beach of Stafilos is just 9 km from the villa and town is reached in approximately 10 minutes drive.
For those hikers and walkers, there are a multitude of beautiful donkey and mule tracks to explore as well as several open monasteries to visit.

Getaways2 provides (through our local representative) cleaning service and linen change twice a week, including arrival cleaning (excluding Sundays). Additional maid service can usually be arranged upon request and at an extra fee. Our representative's Service Office is located on the harbour front in Skopelos Town. A personal villa visit will be made the day following the arrival to answer any individual queries. The staff can help you arrange excursions & car hire, provide tips on what to see and do and let you know of any special events that might be happening during your stay.
