This location enables you to enjoy the capital's charming atmosphere to the full, but the building is far enough from the centre to be peaceful, and thorough soundproofing ensures an undisturbed good night’s sleep.
Whilst still delightfully low-key and authentic, Vathy is rather sophisticated
compared to the rest of the island, with a good choice of
restaurants and a cluster of inviting bars and an air of sophistication
which also defines the Omirikon Residence, which offers some of the best
quality accommodation on Ithaca.
The accommodation itself is very well appointed, with attractive, custom-made furnishings and many useful extras.
Some of the little luxuries you would have to make do without on a self-catering
holiday elsewhere in Ithaca include individually controllable
air-conditioning units, direct dial telephones and internet connections,
satellite TV and radio with a choice of English-language channels, and
even hairdryers in all the shower rooms.
The junior suites and the ‘Honeymoon Suite’ are open plan and do not have a separate bedroom.
The "Honeymoon Suite" is particularly spacious and elegantly furnished. All the ground floor accommodation opens directly onto a lovely terrace facing the harbour and the upper floor suites each have their own balconies with splendid views across the sea and the harbour.
